Another year, same old champions. Our 2018 Cotton Cup champions are, once again, Paul Cotton and Ken Duxbury with an excellent defence of their title shooting one over par 73 for the impressive 5 stroke victory. Paul Cotton was quoted as saying,
» Where is the beer cart? » Ken Duxbury added to the Champions speech and said, » playing through injuries is always tough but we got it done » (referring to the bandaid on his finger).
A fun time was had by all. Tony DaSilva and Scott Horler won a bag of pink Tees as the most sensative and emotional team, John Baird and Rob Platt were quoted as saying, » This was a golf tournament? » Mike Strachan and Steve Roberts represented the Installers by showing that they should just keep installing, Tyler Wastle and Robert Gabinet won a pair of balls for their efforts and a bag to carry them in and Kevin Van Sickle and Dale Cotton took home second place with Dale stating, » Kevin, just get in the cart, I’ll be right back. »
